Two briefs for “protein sachets” can lead to prices that differ a lot. The difference is almost always in the details. Send these eight and your quote will be accurate from the start.
1. The product and its powder
What is it (protein, creatine, electrolytes, collagen, greens, drink mix), and do you supply the finished blend or do we make it? If you have it, send the bulk density or a small sample. A light, fluffy powder needs a bigger sachet for the same weight than a dense one.
2. Fill weight per pack
Grams per sachet or pouch, for example 30 g per sachet or 1 kg per pouch. Fill weight decides the pack size, the dosing set-up and the amount of powder per batch.
3. Pack format and size
Sachet, stick pack, doy-pack, zipper pouch or bag. If you already know it, add the dimensions (width × height). Our sachet line runs from 60 × 80 mm to 130 × 180 mm, and doy-packs and pouches from 100 g to 2 kg.
4. Quantity
Number of packs for the first run, and an estimate for the year. Larger runs spread set-up time over more units, so the price per pack falls as volume grows.
5. Film, pouches and printing
Will you supply your printed film or pouches, or should we source them with your artwork? For printed film, we send the specification before you order print.
6. Coding and labelling
Every pack gets a batch number and best-before. Tell us if you need anything more, such as stickers, a second language or a specific code format.
7. Secondary packaging
How are packs sold? Loose in cartons, in printed boxes of 10, 20 or 30 sachets, or as single pouches in shipper cases. Boxing adds handling time and materials, so it belongs in the quote.
8. Delivery
EXW Sofia, or delivered to your warehouse in Bulgaria or elsewhere in the EU, plus the date you need the goods.
